About Us
Our Place at Bright is the fruition of our family’s dream to have a place where we could all come together.
We wanted a home away from home in our very own luxury haven, but just steps from everything we love about Bright. As well as having beautiful homes to enjoy, creating amazing outdoor spaces was paramount to the design, and ensuring that there’s plenty to keep both the kids happy and the adults relaxed.

The family owners
We are a tight-knit family group, encompassing 3 families with 7 children from toddlers to teenagers between us. When we all get together with the extended family of brothers, sisters, cousins, grandparents and in-laws, and perhaps a few mates thrown in, we make a sizable group – a group that truly values spending quality time with our family and friends.
Separated by a 10-hour drive between Melbourne and the NSW Central Coast, Bright has been our family’s meeting place of choice for many years. With keen motorcyclists, cyclists, restaurant goers and latte drinkers in our mix – plus a bunch of kids who love the playground and tubing down the river – Bright simply ticks all the boxes.
So with our families getting bigger, our kids itching to spend more time with their cousins, and visits to Bright getting more & more regular, it was decided to create a home away from home for each of us.
The mandatories for this haven were extensive; walking distance to town and the river, easy access to the Rail Trail, great sunlight, spacious gardens with a big lawn and cooling shade, gorgeous Hamptons-style homes, spaces where everyone can get together for a meal, plenty to keep the kids entertained and safe within sight, and of course, lots of room for everyone’s families, plus some.
We are so pleased that our dream for Our Place at Bright has come to life – even better than we’d hoped!
