Bright’s Township is located in the picturesque Ovens Valley at the foothills of Victoria’s magnificent High Country. Travelling by car, it’s approximately 3 hrs 15 mins (312km) Nth East of Melbourne and just 1 hour from the border region of Albury/Wodonga.
Our Place at Bright is prominently located on the beautiful tree lined Gavan Street, just a short walk from the town centre of Bright. You’ll be sure to spot our beautiful stone entry and stunning homes on the right as you drive into town coming from Porepunkah.
There’s so much to love about Bright and the surrounding region…we’re not even sure where to begin…

Owners Hamish Nugent and Rachel Reed created their Remedy Gin in a bid to create a truly local taste. The bar and restaurant offers cocktails, craft spirits, wine, beer, house-made cordials and ferments. While the food menu is shaped around the solid fuel grill and oven.

Buffalo Stampede Festival
The Buffalo Stampede is a trail running festival held over three days in April. Bringing together athletes of all levels, ages and abilities, not only is the festival Australia’s first sanctioned skyrace, but it is the Australia’s only qualifier for the World Skyrunning Championships.
